How you can get involved
|

Sponsor a Shipment
Shipping of books is a major part of our activity. Books collected from different sources are sorted and packed by volunteers and are shipped in 20-foot sea containers that hold 20,000 to 25,000 units.

Individual or Corporate Partnerships
BAFA will not succeed without the support of individuals and organisations. The Charity depends on the financial contributions of organisations to help finance the cost of packaging and shipping of books to Africa; others are encouraged to join in supporting the mission of BAFA.

Make a Donation
There are many ways in which you can make a donation to BAFA. You can make a financial contribution or you can donate books and/or other educational resources, such as computers, printers, software teaching aids (audios ,videos, CDs or DVDs, etc.)

Donate Books for BAFA
BAFA collects new and used books. If you have no used books to donate and would like to donate new books, you can visit any of our partner organisations and/or local bookshops and buy some new books for BAFA.

Given its wide geographical coverage, BAFA depends on the support of local organisations and individuals who volunteer their services and act as collection points for our books.

Schools, colleges, higher education institutions and other organisations can donate their unwanted computers, books and other educational instructional materials to BAFA.

Volunteer
BAFA depends on volunteers to help sort books and package them for shipment. We also need volunteers to help collect books from our collection points and deliver them to our office.
There are many rewards available to volunteers who give their time to support our work. In addition to receiving a Certificate of Achievement, volunteers also have the opportunity to wins awards from a number of sponsors.
